Taco Meat
Ingredients:
| 1 | pound ground beef |
| 2 | teaspoons dried minced onion |
| 1 | teaspoon chili powder |
| 1 | teaspoon garlic powder |
| 1 | teaspoon salt |
| 1 | teaspoon sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon cornstarch |
| ¾ | teaspoon ground cumin |
| ½ | teaspoon oregano |
| ½ | teaspoon paprika |
| ¼ | teaspoon cayenne pepper |
| ½ | cup water |
| ⅓ | cup tomato paste, sauce, or salsa |
Brown the ground beef. Drain all the fat. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, and cook until liquid is reduced. Option: Stir in barbecue sauce to approximate sloppy joe’s.
